I serve as the Executive Vice-Chairman for Field and Recruitment for the local Tift County Democratic Party. My campaign centers on enhancing community services, promoting transparency, and listening closely to the needs of District 1.

I believe in a new vision, new focus, your voice, for a stronger community. I am the daughter of the late Reverend Dr. S.T. and Ruthie Mae Haggins. I have lived, worked and received my education in Tift County.
As your commissioner, I will bring dedicated leadership while focusing on:

- Smart Growth and Development

Experienced Public Service
I have years of dedicated service working collaboratively to improve county operations and services. I have participated in various community activities including working with Meals on Wheels Program and the soup kitchen, which serves food to the needy. I have also worked with trash clean up to keep the city and county clean. While working at Target Distribution Center, I participated in a number of community service activities. Some of those activities included donating blood to the Red Cross, donating socks and slippers to the nursing homes. The Haggins family, along with a neighboring family, participated and organized the annual Feed the Needy Program to open the doors to anyone in need of a hot meal duringThanksgiving.

Strong Local Engagement
I am a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Union, Local 2699. Through this experience, I have been actively involved in navigating complex negotiations and advocating for fair outcomes.
This work reflects strong commitment to securing better opportunities not only for union members, but for the broader community as well. I regularly engage in outreach, public forums, and active listening to ensure that voices are heard and represented.
These experiences have strengthened my ability to effective advocate, build consensus, and serve as a voice for other in critical situations. I will bring that same commitment to being a voice for you.
